Meet the four generations of Wells' that have built this business into the company that you know and love today.
Founded in 1921, by Frank Wells; F & C D Wells Ltd began as a domestic painting and decorating company which employed four decorators and used a hand cart. Following this, he a motorbike and side car for transport before he was joined by his son, Charles David Wells, in 1952, and the company began to grow.
Frank retired in 1966 and David, as he was better known, took over the company from his father.
The business carried on expanding and gaining custom when in 1984, Robert, David's son, joined the business as an apprentice painter and decorator. He has since taken over as Managing Director and leads the office team that we know today.
His wife, Marie joined in 1998 and heads the accounts department. Daughter Danielle initially started in 2011 and returned in 2017 as an office administrator and interior designer, alongside son Samuel who joined in 2016 as a trainee estimator.
As a company, F & C D Wells take pride in the fact that they have been running a successful, and professional business for almost 100 years, whilst still offering a warm, personal touch to their service that makes their clients feel comfortable at all times.
